I had a strong fascination towards abstract art from an early age on. Being especially fascinated by the artworks of Wassily Kandinsky, who did not only make an impression on meas an artist, but especially because of his devotion towards art theory as a tool to define how humans perceive our world. This fascination was imperative until after my stay in Tokyo, that developed into a playground of abstract discovery for me. Having had problems to adapt to a new culture art became a refugium of escape and freedom, an ongoing theme that can be found in every artwork on this website. Having had a traumatising childhood and a constant fight against patriarchal constellations at a young age, art also developed into a place where this can be discussed. Ever since I am trying to find a way to communicate hope and truth through art and music in every day life. Some of it being plane distraction from reality – one of the most beautiful aspects of artistic production.
